Who gets to carry your cross?
Who gets to carry your cross? What exactly do the words of Jesus, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me” mean? Our willingness to surrender ourselves on our personal cross and follow Jesus is to endure without complaint and bear the reproach of men with patience and humility. To carry our cross is to reject the world in favor of Jesus, to draw closer to Him and will remind us daily of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior for our sins.

John Strickland
Pastor John Strickland, born in Gainesville, Florida, was called by God to become His servant and studied theology at Southern Adventist University. He has traveled worldwide, which the most inspiring place was the Holy Land, seeing where Jesus lived. He pastors the Wimbish Road Seventh-Day Adventist Church. God has blessed the people tremendously and the church has grown through the power of the Holy Spirit.
